Thanks Giving Long weekend!

After going through a lot in the past weeks, from apartment hunting to helping Pishi with his work and trying not to explode of anger at work, this long weekend was very fruitful!

Saturday, we went to the beginning series of philosophy classes that are going to be focusing on Democracy and its meanings in different contexts. Going back to U of T and attending that class reminded of the times I used to attend philosophy classes in 2000. The only difference was that it was only 4 of us that joined the new classes and that now I am going there with my pishi!

Sunday a group of our friends and us went to Hilton falls for a day of hiking and picnic! Surprisingly we hiked 11 km! and by the time we got home we both dropped dead!! It was the perfect day for hiking and enjoying the nice weather! Last year when we went to Hilton falls the fall was dried but this year thanks to the wet summer, the fall was up and running!!

The program at work is going well, the only thing that frustrates me is my classmate!! He is in constant competition with me and that drives me crazy!! The only good thing is that any time that he thinks he is so called winning, the instructors take my side and my views!! Despite that it is difficult to be around someone who is trying to take information from you to present it as his!!

One big observation that I have made is that although I would like to think that I have been exposed to different walks of life, I must say that there are still people who I can't quite understand for the way they are. The only thing that I am thankful at this point is having my supervisor be supportive as always and having my team who I can relate to.
